They first crossed paths in July 2021 on a birthday trip for their mutual friend. After the trip, Jordan reached out to keep in touch and hang out. Not long after, they met up at a Wine Down Wednesday Event and instantly hit it off—talking nonstop. Things were going great... until one of Jordan's friends unexpectedly joined the outing leading Savitri to believe it might’ve just been a friendly hangout. Convinced she didn’t need any more friends, Savitri put the outing out of her mind. But Jordan had other plans. He stayed persistent, always texting and trying to plan more time to hang out together with mutual friends to make sure the connection didn’t fade. Appreciating the persistence, fast forward to January 4, 2022. They finally hung out one-on-one at Topgolf. After a few rounds, they ended up at the bar deep in conversation for hours talking about any and everything. As the night ended, Jordan handed Savitri a birthday gift saying, “I want you to know how serious I am about pursuing you, will you be my girlfriend?” She said yes and offered him some of her dad’s famous gumbo... and the rest is history.
