Big Ridge State Park Cabins

The park has twenty (20) one-bedroom rustic cabins. Eighteen (18) of the cabins can accommodate six people each. Cabin 11 accommodates four people and Cabin 2 accommodates eight people. The cabins were built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and retain the charm and design of that time. Five cabins are located on the lakeside and fifteen (15) sit on the ridge. Most of the cabins have a combined living and sleeping area with two double beds and a sofa sleeper. They feature hardwood floors, screened-in porches, bathrooms with tub/shower combination, and full kitchens with refrigerator, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. The cabins are fully equipped with linens, cookware, cooking utensils, and a grill. All cabins have air conditioning and electric heat along with a fireplace. Firewood is provided seasonally. There are no televisions or phones.
