Our very first date was on Valentine's Day 2018 at the Olive Garden in Knoxville. Savannah was in charge of picking the day and did not realize that by casually choosing "Wednesday," that she was also picking Valentine's Day. Noah, however, did not question the choice or bring up the fact that it was a holiday; instead, he went along with the plan and arrived to the restaurant two hours early in order to put his name on the waitlist.

We got engaged on August 29, 2020. We had planned to go the Biltmore with Savannah's family to see the beautiful sunflowers and have her mom take some photos... at least that’s what Savannah thought they had planned. When we got there, the sunflowers that Savannah's parents had seen the previous weekend (and where Noah had decided he was going to propose) had all wilted. As such, we decided to go to the gardens to “salvage our outfits” and get some cute photos. Little did Savannah know, while they were walking through the gardens, Noah and her mom were secretly scouting a new location. An hour or so later they apparently found the perfect spot and mid-pretend-posing for pictures Noah got down on one knee and proposed. Savannah, of course, said “yes” and the rest is history.
