The ceremony will take place at Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom. We plan on having an outdoor ceremony if weather permits. We will have staff on site to direct you.
Our reception will follow shortly after the ceremony, and will take place at Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom. We will have staff on site directing you to the ballroom after the ceremony.
Yes, we will have an hour between the ceremony and reception where our guests will be able to grab a drink and mingle while being served hors d’oeuvres. Please see “things to do” tab on our website for more information on food and drink.
Semi Formal is the requested dress code. We want our guests to be comfortable, but still be presentable for photographs. We ask that our guests do not wear bright bold colors (ex: hot pink, bright yellow, neon green, etc.) or mostly white outfits. Our bridesmaids will be wearing the color “Cabernet” if you wanted to avoid accidentally looking like a bridesmaid.
We request that children under 5 not attend the ceremony (except for children in the ceremony), but are welcome to the cocktail hour and reception! If a child under 5 must attend the ceremony, we ask that an adult is able to step away with the child if disruptions begin to occur. We have a 2 year old of our own that will be in the wedding, so we understand children can be unpredictable. We want our family and friends to attend, so please don’t let this request stop you from attending. If you have a child that’s under 5, please feel free to contact the maid of honor or bride if you have any further questions. This request is not in place to exclude anyone or hurt feelings. We just want to have as much of a smooth and disruption free wedding as possible!
Our ceremony will be unplugged, but afterwards phones are more than welcome! We only ask that our guests keep their phones silenced, and no pictures or videos during the ceremony. We will have two photographers and videographers that will get plenty of footage of the ceremony, and some beautiful shots could be ruined by unsightly phones.
Yes, we will have alcohol served at cocktail hour and during the reception. We ask that anyone who plans on drinking be ready to present an I.D. We ask that our guests drink responsibly. We want everyone to have fun, but it’s important that we remain respectful of others and the property. Anyone who plans on drinking must have a designated driver to take them home. Please do not drink and drive!!
Our ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. however we ask that our guests arrive 15-20 minutes prior to allow time for everyone to sign the guest book and be seated.
When making invitations, we try to include all guests that we predict will accompany, however if a guest you plan on bringing does not show up when you RSVP on our website, please contact the maid of honor or bride to inform us so we can make changes. It’s important that we have all guests accounted for so that we are able to provide adequate food and drink.
Yes there will be a marked off designated area for parking and it will be at the venue location. Per venue rules, all guests and belongings must be off the premises by 10 p.m. so no cars are allowed to be left overnight.

•There will be a pool outside the ballroom, however guests are not allowed in the pool whatsoever. • children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times for safety purposes • smoking and vaping will only be allowed in designated smoking areas outside. We have children with asthma in attendance. Please be courteous of others. • Do not place food or drinks on any surface other than ballroom dining tables. Please be respectful and pay attention to our coordinater when she is giving announcements. Anyone who is rude to staff or causes a disturbance with staff or other guests will be asked to leave. • Have fun! I know this all seems like a lot of information. We only put out so much information so that us, and our guests can have a smooth ceremony and a fun reception! We want everyone to have a wonderful time and feel comfortable!
