FAQs

Question

Will there be transportation to and from hotels?

Answer

No, there will not be provided transportation, but there is plenty of parking on-site! If you wish to take an Uber or Lyft, be sure to schedule ahead as they are not easily available in North Georgia. There are also taxi services available in the area. Send off will be at 10PM.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or other family members?

Answer

Please only plan to bring the invitees addressed on your invitation. We have a set guest list and are only able to accommodate individuals indicated on your invitations.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Even though we love your children, this is an adults only event. We will not be able to accommodate them at our ceremony or reception. If you need help finding a local babysitter, we are happy to help!

Question

How late will the reception go?

Answer

Send off will be at 10PM!

Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early. Each guest will have to sign a waiver at the property's gate (they have some exotic animals on property they want to protect like deer, emus, llamas), park, and walk to the ceremony site across from the parking lot. We want everyone to be seated before the start of the ceremony at 5PM.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal: cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dark suits and ties, etc.

Question

Will the ceremony, appetizer hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside. All guests are welcome to go inside immediately following for appetizer hour and reception (AC will be blasting!!). We know it will be hot, and will have waters and fans available for the ceremony.
