Savannah first saw Ian in 2017 at UGA AMA (marketing club) in the BLC while sitting with Ansley Bolen (bridesmaid). Ian walked in looking dapper in his business casual attire with Kyle Sledge (groomsman). He caught Savannah's eye, and she had to tell her friend Jack Langner (groomsman) that she happened to see a cute guy who's in his fraternity. 2 days later, Savannah received an Intagram follow request from Ian... "how embarrassing!! I can't believe Jack TOLD him!". Fast forward through a year of awkward run-ins on campus and Savannah crushing like a middle school girl, they finally reconnected in AMA when Savannah turned in her and Emily Christian's (bridesmaid) yearly dues to the club's CFO... Ian. Ian knew Savannah by name without even asking. They then ran into each other later that week and talked more. Next thing you know, Ian invited Savannah to an Atlanta United date night and the rest was history!

Ian asked Savannah to go on a date to celebrate her promotion at work at their favorite Dallas tapas place, Si Tapas. After a lovely dinner, Ian ever so slyly asked if she wanted to take a walk through Griggs Park. It was late at night and the Dallas skyline glowed in the background. Ian dropped to one knee and popped the question. Savannah was so excited and said YES!
