Who knew a dating app like Tinder would work? One day I was scrolling through, just being mindless, when I got a notification that I had been "Super Liked." I honestly wasn't sure what that was (I had only had a profile for about 2 or 3 hours at this point). I look and it says "Joey M. 21. Kennesaw State University." I thought he was cute so why not? *swipes* Not even two minutes later, I get a message. Him: "Hey ... are you a campfire?" Me: "Uhm .. no? Why?" Him: "Because you're hot and I want s'more!" And it's all history from there ... haha! We met on campus a few days after texting. I walked up to this handsome looking dude sitting under the stairs at the KSU student center and said "hey! Joey!?" We had Chick Fil A and talked until he had to go to calculus class. I asked him to come over the next day and I'd cook him dinner (He said I couldn't make as good of a chicken parm as his mom made ... challenge accepted!) Let's just say, nothing's better than mom's cooking but mine was close enough for him to ask me out on a date date I guess haha! On our first real date, Joey told me to dress fancy because he was taking me somewhere great! I did, and as we pulled up to the Longhorn parking lot, I laughed. He wasn't laughing ... Thankfully his taste in food has grown since he's met me (not that there's anything WRONG with Longhorn, that was just the fanciest place Joey knew of which is still a bit hilarious to me). I took him to one of my local spots called Ceviche a few days later. We actually officially became boyfriend and girlfriend when Joey's mom, around Thanksgiving of 2017, jokingly said "you can't sleep over unless you're his girlfriend!" We laughed, went downstairs, looked at each other and he said "so you want to be my girlfriend?" And that was that! Since then we've done everything together. We're adventure partners, partner's in crime, each other's best friend, and the love of each other’s lives. And now we're getting married!! (:
