Questions & Contacts

The Wedding Website of Savanna McCabe and Juan Gonzalez
We can't wait to celebrate with you! If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Robin McCabe (mother of the bride) at 850-591-1164 or Ashley Douglas (maid of honor) at 850-491-1747.
Question

What should I expect for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Juan and I are Catholic so, our wedding ceremony will take place as a mass, which is a Catholic worship service. Our mass will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the accommodations of bilingual wedding pamphlets. During this mass, there will be readings, worship music, special prayers, vows, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion is a time where Catholics that are fully receptive to the Lord and the Church, get to receive the Eucharist, which we believe is the Body and Blood of Jesus as described in John Chapter 6 of the Bible. If you are not Catholic or you are and do not prefer to receive the Eucharist, we value you as much as anyone else and invite you to come forward during Holy Communion to receive a prayer of blessing from our priest, Father Jeronimo. If you would prefer to remain seated during this time, we will honor this as well.
