Palmer House a Hilton Hotel

This is another one of the room blocks we have very close to Union League Club. It is a three minute drive or eight minute walk. Reservations for this room block have to be made by September 16, 2026. When you plan to make a reservation, make sure to mention the Swanson/Kelly wedding.

Travel Note

Parking information for Union League Club

For those driving to the reception, there is different parking options. Parking options and information are on the Union League website at the bottom of the page under member login labeled "Directions/Parking". Valet for 3-10 hours is $53 for guests, 10-24 hours is $65. During the week, self parking in the garage on the corner of Federal and Van Buren for 3-10 hours is $34 for guests, 10-24 hours is $39. For the weekend special, self parking for 0-12 hours is $16 for guests, 12-24 hours is $39.

Train

Union Pacific West

For those staying in the city and want a quick, easy and accessible way to get to and from our ceremony, the train is a great option. You can take the Union Pacific West line to and from Chicago (Ogilvie Transportation Center - OTC) and Elmhurst. The OTC train station is a four minute drive, or 18 minute walk to Union League Club. The Elmhurst train station is a three minute drive, nine minute walk to the church.
