Should I rent a car?
Answer
If you are traveling from out of state and are able to rent a car, we highly recommend it. There's so much exploring to do in area - the heart of the Rocky Mountains is our backyard! However, it is possible to go without a car if you're feeling scrappy ;)

How far away is the venue from Carbondale?
Answer
Our wedding venue is located at Darien Ranch in Marble, Colorado, a 40 minute scenic car ride up the Crystal River Valley.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is limited parking; we recommend folks carpool or utilize the shuttle from Carbondale.

Shuttle Details

We’ve reserved a shuttle bus to make getting to and from our wedding easy and fun! The shuttle will depart from the Comfort Inn & Suites in Carbondale at 3:00 pm, with arrival in Marble around 3:45 pm. For the return trip, one shuttle will leave Marble at 9:00 pm, and one more will depart at 10:30 pm. Parking at the venue is limited, so we encourage everyone to carpool or sign up for the shuttle service. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. What's the best way to get around Carbondale?
Answer
There are a few local transit options! The Downtowner - an on-demand shuttle service, much like Uber or Lyft, within town limits of Carbondale. Simply download the Downtowner app or by calling 970-504-0054. This can get you from your Carbondale lodging to the Friday night welcome hang or to the Comfort Inn Suites to catch the larger shuttle to Marble! We Cycle - electric bike stations around town.
