What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony (3:40pm), so you can walk through the venue to the ceremony site, and find a seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, The Chateau at Incline Village has ample parking. The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Chateau.

Question

What if I drink at the reception, and drove to the venue?

Answer

You can leave your car overnight in the Chateau parking lot. The Chateau asks that guests move their cars from the parking lot by 11am the next day.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal attire. Semi-formal means: - A suit or blazer with dress pants, a tie is recommended but not required. - A knee to ankle length dress, a cocktail dress, or skirt and blouse. The ceremony is on grass, so stilettos may be challenging to walk in. Evenings at The Chateau are chilly due to the elevation—bring a jacket.

Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception ends at 10pm. Travis and Savannah will hang out at the Incline Lodge hotel where we are staying after the reception.

What is for dinner? What if I have a food restriction?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style, and there will be dinner options for omnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians alike. Dinner is: - Raspberry Salad (vegetarian) - Grilled Pesto Portobello Mushrooms (vegan) - Glazed Roasted Dijon Salmon Filet - Herb Crusted Prime Rib - Roasted Vegetables (vegan) - Herbed Potatoes (vegetarian)

Where should we bring/send wedding gifts?

Answer

If you feel inclined to give, our registry is online at https://www.zola.com/registry/savandtrav It is easiest for us to handle gifts that are shipped to our home listed on the registry. If you would like to bring a gift or card, there will a small space at the wedding to leave gifts.

What is the weather like in Incline Village in June?

Answer

The weather is generally warm during the day, between 75-90 degrees F. Evenings and nights are cold because the town is at high elevation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If a partner or plus one is not listed on your RSVP they were not added to our guest count. If you think we made a mistake, or have a serious partner we have left out, please contact us! Our intention is not to exclude serious partners.
