Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

As much as we want everyone there to celebrate our special day, we are only able to accommodate the guests who are formally invited to the wedding. This includes children. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you for understanding!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We would love our friends and family to get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code. For the gentlemen, that means a dress shirt and slacks. A suit is not required. For the ladies, below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, or an elegant jumper or pantsuit are all acceptable. The theme colors are spring-like, Bridgerton colors. Please do not wear jeans or shades of white.

What Time Should I Arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Hall of Philosophy. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to park and find your seat.

Is There Parking and Transportation Onsite?

Answer

All wedding guests will be required to park in the South Parking Lot located at the top of Janes Avenue. Chautauqua Institution will provide shuttle transportation (subject to availability) within the premises of the Chautauqua Institution. The Athenaeum Hotel, and Hall of Christ have limited parking spaces available, which are to be reserved for handicapped guests. Directional signage will be placed at the designated property entrances and parking areas prior to the event. From the parking lot, it takes approx. 6-7 minutes to walk to the official event venue.

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Yes, The bar will be open with a selection of wine and beer of the Bride and Groom's choice.
