Matt's and Savannah's love story began on the dating app Hinge. After a month of exchanging messages, they decided to take the leap and meet in person. Their first date was a memorable lunch on the Indianapolis Canal, followed by the Indiana State Museum. Fun fact: Savannah's friend came along as a secret "spy," just in case the date didn't go as planned. Luckily, it was a perfect match!

Keeping in mind Savannah's long list of engagement rules, Matt "engineered" a perfect surprise getaway to Mackinac Island, MI. The day began with a scenic ferry boat ride to the island and a cozy lunch by the lake at Watercolor Cafe. Afterward, they enjoyed a charming carriage ride around the island before their final stop: the secret garden at the iconic Grand Hotel. Matt popped the big question surrounded by a bed of flowers and a hidden photographer who captured the first steps toward a happily ever after.
