Maid of Honor
Aka Abz, Abbitha, or Abby. Maid of Honor and partner in crime. From a friendship that stemmed from our exes being friends, she is now a best friend for life. She was there from the first day Jason & I met, and gave the early feedback when asked if I should go for it with Jason that “He just seems too nice.” Since then it’s safe to say that Jason would consider her to be like a little sister and we feel so fortunate that she has been along to witness the whole journey. Abz has been there every step of the way for the wedding prep and in my daily life even if hangouts nowadays mean calling her on my Highline walk home laughing & crying all in one conversation. I know she will be such an important part of the big day, gracing us with her regal auntie Abby presence. Couldn’t do it without her!
Maid of Honor
Aka Thelms or Thelmies. Maid of Honor and best friend of 14 years, I can’t really summarize our friendship in a few lines…but from our high school days laying in my bed, imagining the types of guys each of us would marry one day, to sharing an excessive amount of Italian food enough for 4 people chatting about our dreams for the future, traveling around Europe with no sense of direction, to now discussing my wedding aesthetic – Thelma & I have been through just about every life experience together and she has witnessed all of the frogs I’ve kissed before finding J. She knows me too well, and never fails to make me smile. The day truly wouldn’t be complete without having her next to me.
Bridesmaid
Aka B. Bridesmaid and soul sister. Those who know us know our serendipitous friendship that started back in 7th grade in Australia and was reignited by a chance encounter at a camera store in Santa Monica. Since then, we have been inseparable, we have just about everything in common with one another – partly due to the similarities in Australian & South African upbringings but also because we were destined to be friends. You’ll find us laughing about nonsense, speaking in gibberish, and holding hands. Couldn’t imagine this day without B and her incredibly infectious energy.
Bridesmaid
Aka Rakeeks or Raq. Bridesmaid and best friend since high school. Raquel has been a constant in my life, part of the friend group with Thelma and lucky for me her career in events has been a huge help throughout this process. Raquel is extremely supportive, always taking care of everyone else and has given me peace of mind throughout this planning journey, it means the world to have her part of this day. Through our engagement party Raquel met Scharkss one of Jason’s closest friends and we are extremely thrilled to have two of our best friends together.
Bridesmaid
Aka Brookel or Brookie Cookie. Bridesmaid and best friend across the pond. Similarly to Abby, Brooke was there from day 1 on Jason & I's journey. From rolling around on the floor with glow sticks in Jason & Chris’s Venice Airbnb, to visiting “Mom & Dad” in NYC, to a recent trip to London to see her UK stomping grounds, Brooke and I have remained just as close despite the distance. It has come full circle with Brooke bearing witness to my initial rejection of Jason to now being a part of our wedding, we could not be more excited to have Brooke join us all the way from London. At the wedding you’ll find us bopping around like squirrels communicating in our own language.
Bridesmaid
Aka D. Bridesmaid and twin flame in so many ways. What started as a friendship several months before the pandemic, quickly blossomed into a best friendship spending every week together when the world was shutdown. It became a running joke when people asked “How long have you two been friends, your friendship is so cute,” that we would lie…as in the beginning, several months of knowing each other felt like a lifetime. Although she has been traveling the world now residing in Bali for over a year, we have a special connection that will withstand any time apart. I cannot express how grateful I am to have her make a trip across the globe to be with me on this day.
Bridesmaid
Aka big sister. Bridesmaid and friend since before I was born, our friendship extends beyond us and started with our grandparents back in South Africa. My entire childhood was spent on adventures with Darra in the Palisades – from 4th of July parades, baking from scratch and making a mess along the way, to our mutual obsession with Halloween, Darra has witnessed my awkward days of puberty where I came to her many times for big sister boy advice. Darra will always be family and it’s probably just as surreal for her as it is for me to see shy little Savy getting married.
Bridesmaid
Aka Mallipop or Mal. Bridesmaid and one of my first best friends in New York! From the very first time we hung out we instantly were on the same wavelength, and I felt like I had known her for years. We bonded over just about everything from our outlook on friendships, relationships, and life in general, to our love for fashion, cheese puffs and shared traits of clumsiness & goofiness where we can laugh until we cry. Mal is never not smiling, reminding me to not take life too seriously, even when she’s being escorted down the side of a mountain on a patrol sled with a ski rescue pup. Mal is a very special part of mine & Jason’s life, and the day wouldn’t be the same without her.
Bridesmaid
Aka B or Michelle. Bridesmaid and bff, a friendship that some would say is unlikely & unexpected. Brooke & I knew about each other before we became friends as it just so happens, we dated the same person in the past. In any other scenario one wouldn’t feel very compelled to like one another, but when the first time we met we started talking in southern accents and calling each other “Franny & Michelle” I knew we were going to be friends for life. I can assure you not much has changed because whenever we are together within seconds we are screaming and crying annoying everyone around us especially Jason & Chris.
Bridesmaid
Aka Calligirl. Bridesmaid and NYC bestie. I met Calli & her fiancé Dan in California several years before moving to New York. I clicked with Calli the first time I met her and knew one day we’d become best friends. I remember saying “One day I’ll be living in New York and I’ll look you guys up.” Fast forward to 2021 I sent her a text to let her know I’d arrived and from that point we have spent so much time together from Hamptons trips to dancing all night with each other at numerous spots across the city while our fiancé’s look at us and think to themselves how lucky they are to be with such energetic younger girls 😉 So thrilled to share this special day with her.
Best Man
Best friends since his birth in 1990, Justin has always been Jason’s go to guy and point guard. These two have never shied away from competition ranging from Knee Hockey, Wiffle Ball, Ping Pong, Tennis and Basketball. While the scouting report and statistics have always suggested Justin is the better basketball player, Jason’s claim to fame is remaining undefeated as a big brother (due to his rule of keeping games to 7 only). Justin has been there for Jason in so many ways and Jason couldn't be luckier to call Justin his best friend and brother. No pressure, but there is a lot of hype surrounding the best man's speech...
Groomsman
Greg (not Craig) and Jason have been friends for the better part of 36 years aka Team High5. Its unconfirmed, but they currently hold the world record for most sleepovers held by friends in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle bedding, which started in early childhood and carried all the way through living in the city. Even with immense separation anxiety, their friendship remains constant and unchanged. Look out for Greg trying to figure out what to do with his hands when he walks down the aisle on the big day.
Groomsman
Matt and Jason started out as fifth cousins turned best friends. Don’t ask us how we are related, but we are. For Ghostbuster fans out there, Matt and Jason have been the beams you never want to cross, but when they do amazing things happen. From Robot Suit Halloween’s, to falling out of 3 story buildings, to throwing a couple crazy NYE parties, the one thing that has remained constant is their unified energy and effort put into having the best time as humanly possible. If you need to find Matt, look for the sweaty doctor in the middle of the dance floor.
Groomsman
Zach aka Z, is the last member of the Cor4 spotify playlist. He and Jason found their connection in high school training to become the top Jewish basketball players NJ has ever seen. They spent countless hours after school with Coach Binstein learning how to shake and bake and pretending to play defense. When hoop dreams diminished, they found themselves in their free time going to massive Phish New Years runs, enjoying top notch culinary experiences, and belting Tenacious D…even when the moment doesn’t call for it. Unfortunately no Creed will be played at the wedding so Zach will have no use from the band.

Aka CLP or just Martine if Chris is too hard to say, met Jason in college at Lehigh. While they were a year apart, they quickly became fast friends on and off the pick-up court. Since then Chris has been a true partner in crime which includes multiple euro trips, 1000 of start up ideas, and most notably moving with Jason to LA and being there when he met Savy. Jason recalls telling Chris how much he was into Savy and then promptly watched Chris go ask for her number. Since then Chris has been a staple piece in Jason and Savy's relationship and Jason is honored to call him one of his best friends...even if he is an Eagles fan.
Groomsman
Toddy aka TBrew aka Brewha aka Toddy2Hotty has been one of Jason’s best friends in college. They lived together for 3 years at Lehigh…and then another few years in New York, each better than the last. Their journey has been filled with hilarious nights out, soft ball weekends in Shelter Island, ski trips, and an abundance of concerts and music festivals. What Todd lacks in dance moves, he makes up with confidence and positivity, so watch your feet as he noodles across the floor.
Groomsman
Aka Handsome Bill and Jason met playing against each other in high school basketball. While we are still unsure who won those games, Bill continues to remind Jason that he holds a winning 1v1 record of 1-0. Fortunately for Bill they spent most of their sports days teaming up and dominating in flag football and intramural basketball in college and now in Sunday pick up. Bill is a constant reminder to Jason that they are still from New Jersey, no matter how much they try and shake it. Bill has been a casualty in all of Jason's plans good, bad and ugly, but Bill has always taken it in stride and showed up for the adventure. Don't let Bill's calm and confident demeanor fool you, it just takes a little gravity to get the ball rolling down hill.

Aka Freiguy and Jason started their friendship studying abroad in Prague or Praha as they would say. Their mutual love for NY Giants Football and the NY Knicks made them fast friends. Their relationship grew well beyond the walls of Lehigh spending countless night stumbling through NYC bars and even a night where Jason saved Matt’s life. Some of their adventures include music festivals (in Canada), hiking glaciers in Iceland, and the Jeremy Lin run at the garden. All positive vibes and energy with Freiguy.
Groomsman
Aka Daddy (you'll know why when you see him) has had quite the wild ride with Jason. While their relationship started with Jason beating Dan for New York’s Most Promising commercial real estate broker, the defeat did not keep Dan from agreeing to be friends and ultimately joining Jason at one of his Breast Cancer events. Since then its been nothing but fun with summer houses, a crazy euro trip, and way too many body shots….unfortunately out of Dan. Occasionally some work gets done, but its rare. Above all the nonsense, Dan has been an incredibly loyal and amazing friend to Jason. If you’re looking for Dan, he’s the big guy.
Groomsman
Kemp aka Kempy. If he makes it to the wedding without forgetting something it will be a miracle. Best described as outrageous and unintentionally funny, Rob quickly became one of Jason’s closest friends with adventures that include, Aspen, MTK weekends, Croatia trips, ICSC’s in Las Vegas, and a daily facetime. While coming up in the real estate business, Rob always made a point to ask Jason at the end of the year how much money he made…just to see where he was at comparatively. While the two of them have their moments of mutual frustration, it can best be described as love. Rob is a complete wild card for the wedding so apologies in advance.
