FAQs

Question

Do I *have* to RSVP by March 1, 2026?

Answer

Please do ! We have to give all of our vendors and the venue a head count! Once we give the head count, we can't change it !

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding will be formal. For women- you are more than welcome to wear a gown, but it is not required or expected. A midi dress, nice jumpsuit, cocktail dress, or bunad is just fine. It is a rustic venue and there will be dancing! So wear something you are comfortable in. It can be any color, including red (if that was a concern for anyone)! But, please, avoid white. Men- Suits are great. Tuxes are fine but not expected. The groom and groomsmen are wearing suits - to answer the "expectation" question with an example. Any color! Jacket and tie, or tie and no jacket, or just jacket! Just please, no jeans, sneakers or camouflage..

Question

Can I bring extra people that were not on my invite?

Answer

Please, refrain from doing so! We are dangerously close to the amount of people we are allowed to have attend. So please only bring the number of people that the site prompts you to RSVP for.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please check the Hotel Tab! Dan and I are staying at the Hampton, but because the hotels share a parking lot it doesn't matter which one you choose! However, book before March 18 if you plan to stay at the Hampton, that is when the wedding block price is good until!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on site, but please don't drink and drive, we will have transportation provided to and from the hotels.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Before 4! The ceremony is expected to start on time, so please give yourself time to walk up and get situated. I (this is Rachel) have waited 9 years to walk down the aisle. I'd prefer not to wait any longer if it can be avoided!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be a welcome dinner for anyone and everyone that would like to come the night before the wedding. It will be at Cedar Rose Winery starting at 4:30pm. There will be food and wine provided. Dress how you would for a Friday night out! Sundresses, jeans whatever your prefer.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please specify when you RSVP if you have a food allergy.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

If you feel so inclined, there is a tab on the website with a registry! We are not registered at any specific place, but links are all on that tab.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be a Jitney Service running from 3pm-3:45pm from the hotels to the venue and then service running from 9:30-11pm from the venue to the hotels.
