One of Lucy and Adam's favorite buildings in DC. The best visitor experience can be found inside the Library of Congress’ Thomas Jefferson Building. You will be dazzled upon walking in the door of the Jefferson Building. Gilded Age architecture makes its interior a visual masterpiece, a work of art worthy of housing the immense amount of knowledge that it holds. You can also explore the building’s many exhibits. Price: Free timed-entry tickets are required to enter the Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building. Available to book same day online.

Lucy's favorite museum! Hillwood, the grand estate of Post Cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post, sits on 25 acres overlooking Rock Creek Park in northwest Washington DC. Along with a world renowned collection of Russian and French decorative arts, Hillwood also features extensive gardens and special exhibitions. One of Adam's favorite historic sites. George Washington’s former estate has been transformed into a museum filled with documents and ephemera once belonging to some of the key players in American history. Today, visitors tour the meticulously-preserved grounds, viewing Washington’s farm, gardens and even his final resting place, discovering life in colonial America first hand.
