When Lucy and Adam walked into their Secondary Education classes at the beginning of the school year, neither of them thought their lives would change forever. They first noticed each other when one of their professors had them introduce themselves with the stories of how they got their names. They also noticed that they had three classes together.
Adam and Lucy spent the semester getting closer and closer. They began lingering after class just to have a chance to talk longer, Adam invited Lucy to eat lunch with him, and feelings began to blossom. Both of them were rather worried about being wrong about how the other person felt, so they began finding excuses to hang out together outside of school. The first of such times was when Lucy invited Adam to visit the Cathedral of the Madeline in SLC for mass with her and some of her friends.
Lucy invited Adam to her annual Muppet Soup party (where they watch Muppet Christmas Carol while eating hearty soups and stews). After the party, Lucy walked Adam out to his car. They kept walking and walking... Lucy thought Adam parked really far away, and Adam was working up the courage to ask a very important question. After much walking and waiting, Adam finally confessed his feelings to Lucy, and Lucy confessed back. They were both very happy (and relieved).
After Lucy wrapped up her student teaching and graduated and before Adam started his internship, they had a blissful summer full of adventures! They traveled many times to St. George to visit Adam's family. Lucy was very brave and joined Adam and his friends on their annual rafting trip. Adam attended his first concert. Lucy learned that maybe the mountains are cool after all as they took many hikes along Alpine Loop. Adam and Lucy learned that they loved reading out loud and worked their way through Sabriel and The Way of Kings. They both got increasingly sappy and more and more in love.
Adam finally got to meet the extended Hemming clan as he joined Lucy and her family for New Years. They spent much time with Lucy's family, saw some cool museums, and walked much of Baltimore.
After a little over a year of dating, Adam and Lucy found out that they were incredibly compatible and madly in love, so they decided to make this a full time gig. Adam popped the question.....
Adam and Lucy will get married and celebrate with a rockin' party. The best part is, you get to be there! Huzzah!
