We understand that a cruise wedding adds additional expenses. Therefore, we would love if each and every one of you could attend our dream wedding. We completely understand that not everyone will be able to make it. For the people who are able to make it, we feel so loved and fortunate to have you share this special day with us. We hope that you fall in love with cruising as much as we did. We look forward to spending the 7 days with you. We can’t wait to party and set sail! Love, DJ & Jess
Please make sure you have proper travel documents. While it is not required, it is recommended that you travel with a valid passport or passport card. You are allowed to board using a government issued photo ID (drivers license) and a certified birth certificate. Please visit RC's website to view documentation requirements.
All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the 4:30pm sailing time. We highly recommend that you take advantage of the check-in which is available up to 72 hours prior to your sailing. You can check-in through your RC account. This way, you can have the smoothest pier check-in and boarding.
You may drop your bags off with a porter at the cruise terminal (it will be delivered to your room that afternoon) or carry on your bags. Keep in mind that there is no assistance offered if you choose to carry on. Your rooms will not be available at the exact time you board, that means you will have to keep up with your luggage until you are allowed into the room. We recommend leaving your luggage with a porter. Make sure you keep all necessary items, such as medications, with you in case they are needed before your luggage arrives. Make sure you check RC’s Prohibited items list on their website for things that are not allowed on board. The Royal guest documents includes a bag tag specific to the ship, sailing date, stateroom and deck number. The bag tag also provides information on how it should be used. In addition, generic bag tags are available at the pier on the day of boarding.
When you check in, you will receive your SeaPass card. You will use this card for all purchases made while on the ship. Cash is not accepted while on the ship UNLESS you are applying cash to your SeaPass account at the guest services desk. When you book your cruise you can set up your spending account by credit card, so it will be linked to your SeaPass card. It is a good idea to bring some cash for spending while off the ship. Your SeaPass card also acts as your room key and contains useful information including your muster station, dining time, etc..
There are multiple beverage packages to choose from. The Deluxe Package which includes unlimited alcoholic drinks, sodas, "mocktails", juices and bottled water. Refreshment Package which is unlimited sodas, "mocktails", juices and bottled water. The Classic Soda Package which is unlimited soda. The water Package which is 12 or 24 Evian bottled waters delivered to your room. You may purchase a beverage package up to 72 hours before you sail, online at Royal Caribbean's Cruise Planner. Or you may purchase it onboard, on the first day of your cruise. Each of these range in price and are sold at a per day-per person rate. If you do not want to choose a package you may purchases any type of beverage individually.
When you book your cruise, you’ll get to choose between traditional dining and My Time Dining. Traditional dining allows you to select one of two assigned times: 5:30pm or 8:30pm. Your table assignment will be printed on the front of your SeaPass card. We love the traditional dining because you get the same table and staff at dinner every night. We are working on getting all guests, who pick Traditional Dining for 5:30pm to sit in the same vicinity as us! We will keep you posted. Those who choose My Time Dining can eat in the Main Dining Room anytime they like during dinner hours. This gives you more flexibility and does not put you on a schedule. If you choose Traditional dining, you DO NOT have to go every night. If you want, you can call the dining room to let them know you are not coming..Then whenever you are ready you can go to the dining room to eat!
The RC website is full of information and they’re customer service team is available for any questions at 1-866-562-7652.
