The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
If your invite says "and Guest," then yes - please do! If not, we would prefer it is just yourself. To learn more about RSVP'ing via Zola, please visit https://youtu.be/en2tUrLz7D8.
To give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. While we love to watch your children run and play, this will be an adults-only kind of day. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!
There is ample, non-metered street parking as well as a renovated, private lot that can hold up to 50 cars adjacent to the venue. Should you wish to be free of keys for the evening, the Ivy House - located in Milwaukee's Fifth Ward - is less than two miles from several of our arranged hotel blocks aka a quick Uber/Lyft ride once last call comes around.
Nothing says Fourth of July like some good ol' fashioned barbeque. Smoke Shack is one of Milwaukee's premier BBQ restaurants, providing a midwest spin on some southern favorites. With gluten-free rubs and a variety of dietary-friendly sauces that'll have you feeling like you're in Kansas City or deep in the heart of Texas, we're excited to share this Milwaukee staple with you. Just be sure to save room for the cornbread! To learn more about Smoke Shack, visit www.smoke-shack.com/
