Barring any bad weather *knock on wood*, our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors. Cocktail hour will be a blend of indoor and outdoor access, while the reception will be fully indoors. Be aware that the outdoors in southeastern Virginia in late May can be fairly warm, averaging around 75°F. Please plan accordingly.
You will be able to park right out front of the clubhouse. Luckily, with it being a Sunday, all clubhouse community activities are over by midday, so there should be no issue with finding parking if you plan to drive there
The bridesmaids will be wearing a combination of cream and burgundy. The groom and groomsmen will be wearing a dark green color.
We have given everyone who we are aware of having a partner a +1 in our RSVPs. If you do not have one listed, then we were not aware of you having a partner at the time of our booking the guest list. If you do not have a +1 listed and would like to bring someone, please contact us, but understand that we reserve the right to say "no" once we have reached the cap of guests that we plan to have at our wedding.
Guests will select a meal from a list of options after confirming our selections on February 10th. Everyone will have a salad option, an entree option, and a choice of side dish with their meal. For drinks, there will be an open bar during the reception that you are welcome to use for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
We know some people like to bring physical gifts or cards to the wedding rather than use the online registry. There will be a table at our venue set up for this very purpose, so feel free to bring something in. If you would rather use the online registry, that is okay too, we are immensely grateful either way. You can even do both if you're feeling extra generous ;)
Our wedding will be professionally photographed. **We ask that no one take photos during the wedding ceremony**. If you would like to take photos of your own during the reception using a phone camera or something similar, that is fine by us.
