Mehendi and Maiyaan (Henna Ceremony)

You are cordially invited to a celebration of joy and tradition as Sarb and Dan celebrate their upcoming wedding with a vibrant Mehendi (Henna) Ceremony and Sangeet. Join us for an evening filled with henna artistry, music, and dance at our residence. Please RSVP by July 30th so we can finalize the arrangements.

The term Gurdwara means "the door" to the Guru. It is a place where the Guru Granth Sahib, our holy scripture, is present. It is open to everyone regardles of age, sex, caste, or creed and as the center for congregatIonal worship of Sikhi. The following etiquette should be observed in the Gurdwara. Before entering the hall please take off your shoes and cover your head. Bow your head in front of the Guru Granth Sahib and stand up during Ardaas (prayer to God). When offered "prasad" at the end of the service accept with both hands together.

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.

Reception

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
