Question

You’re married! What's happening on July 3rd?!

Answer

You’re right! Due to COVID 19, we were married on July 4th, 2020 in an intimate backyard ceremony with our immediate family in attendance. With most of our guest list unable to be there, we want to celebrate our wedding in the way we initially intended it, with as many of our loved ones present as possible. We will start with a ceremony where we will renew our vows, followed by cocktail hour, dinner and dancing the night away!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Guests should wear dresses and suits.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both will be on the grounds of Stone House at Stirling Ridge. The ceremony will take place outside in a covered area. This will be followed by cocktail hour, with food and drinks inside and outside. The reception will take place in the ballroom, with glass doors throughout the room that lead to the outdoor area. Visit their website to see some pictures if you want a better idea of the room: https://landmarkvenues.com/venues/stone-house/grand-ballroom/

Question

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the wedding?

Answer

There will be shuttle service from the Embassy Suites, but not the Courtyard Marriott. Closer to the wedding we will have more details here and in your welcome bags.

Question

What precautions are the venue taking for COVID 19?

Answer

Stone House continues to update their guidelines to match those of the CDC and the State of New Jersey. While most have been relaxed at this point, they are still doing manned food stations and spaced out tables.

Question

Will masks be required to be worn?

Answer

Following the guidelines for the state of NJ and the CDC, we will not be requiring our guests to wear masks. If you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do! Roughly 98% of our guests are vaccinated. The staff is 99% vaccinated and while they are not required, most are choosing to still wear masks. We will provide masks for those who would like one.

Question

How will food be served?

Answer

Cocktail hour food will be manned by staff behind plexiglass guards. Dinner will be a plated meal at your table. Please contact us if you have a specific dietary need.

Question

Can I bring a date or my child?

Answer

We have so many wonderful children in our lives and I’m sure we would love the date you would bring. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
