Our favorite hike! Medium/hard intensity. Head into Stowe Village afterwards - Doc Ponds, Idletyme, and Von Trapp are all great food & beer options after your hike.
A great little hike not too far from Burlington.
Our favorite swimming hole! We've spent countless summer days here. Graham was also featured on the local news here once (for being a thrill seeker). FYI, there's a steep hike to get down to the water. Go to Stone Corral after for food & drinks.
Another great swimming hole. Head to the Bobcat Cafe afterward for food & drinks.
As far as breweries in the Burlington area go, this is the best overall. The chicken wings are a must. SJ used to sell veggies here every week with Three Chimney Farm.
Another brewery where SJ sold veggies! Foam leans towards experimental beers, if you're into that. The brewery is right on the waterfront and has great views.
The switchback ale is one of our favorite beers! We used to be mug club members, and of course, SJ also sold veggies here.
If you're feeling extra touristy, check out the Ben & Jerry's factory!
Truly the greatest sandwiches in the world. Graham recommends the Thai Chicken and SJ recos the Sicilian Eggplant. Pro tip: call ahead and order when you're not too hungry (there's usually a 60 min wait)
One of our all-time favorite restaurants and a Vermont staple. Come here for some of the best farm to table food you can find.
The absolute best BBQ, beer, and cocktails
We love this new little restaurant in the heart of Waitsfield. They have an incredible menu highlighting local ingredients. The dan dan noodles are not for the faint of heart.
A very solid taco joint.
Some of our favorite pizza! We used to frequent the Burlington location, but their original restaurant & farm are right in Waitsfield.
They're known for having the best creemees & fried chicken in all the land. (Creemees = soft serve ice cream)
