2017
College Sweethearts
Sarah Taylor and Austin met while working at their campus job at Elon University. They might still disagree about who made the first move, but they've been together ever since and are now so excited to start the next chapter of their lives together.
2018
Summer in the City
During Sarah Taylor's summer internship in New York City, Austin took the train in almost every weekend to visit. They spent the summer exploring one of their favorite cities together and creating an amazing start to their time as a couple.
2019
Planes, Trains, and Tuk-Tuks
After spending a semester abroad in Germany, Sarah Taylor flew to China to meet up with Austin, who was finishing his own abroad program. From there, they set off to Thailand, marking their first big adventure together and the beginning of a shared love for exploring the world. Since then, Austin and Sarah Taylor have traveled to ten countries together and are always looking forward to their next trip!
2020
Sweet Home CLT
After graduation, Sarah Taylor and Austin moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they continue to build their life together. They enjoy trying new restaurants and bars, exploring the local greenways and nature, and taking road trips to discover the best of North Carolina.
2021
La Buena Vida
Austin and Sarah Taylor took advantage of the flexibility of working remotely to spend a few months working in Mexico City. They’ve always seized every opportunity to travel, and this adventure became one of many memories they’ve made together along the way.
2022
Marsh Madness
This year, Sarah Taylor and Austin traveled to St. Simons Island for the first time, and it quickly became a special part of their life. From fishing and kayaking to walks along the beach, they’ve developed a shared love for the coastal life and look forward to going back every year.
2023
Tuxedo T-Shirt
Austin and Sarah Taylor rescued their cat, Ricky Bobby, from right outside of their apartment. The little tuxedo cat from the streets somehow charmed his way into the hearts of two unsuspecting parents and quickly became the most spoiled cat in Charlotte. Their sweet, curious boy is now an inseparable part of the family.
2024
The Best is Yet to Come
Seven years later, back where it all began on Elon’s campus, Austin got down on one knee and asked Sarah Taylor to marry him. Their journey has been filled with countless flights, late-night Cookout milkshakes, and evenings at dive bars that have shaped their love story. Now, they can’t wait to continue their adventure together as husband and wife.
