We’re getting married!

Connor and I went to college together at Clemson University. We knew of each other through mutual friends, but never got to spend much time together. We reconnected after we both moved back to Lexington after college. Our first date was on the fourth of July. We instantly had a silly bond thanks to our cats; Connor has an orange boy tabby cat and I have an orange girl tabby and it felt like a sign we were meant to be! A few months into dating, I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus; Connor was there for me in every way to support and take care of me, and i knew he was the one! In June 2020 we had our beautiful daughter Aspen Elizabeth, and now live in Lexington, SC.

Connor proposed on my birthday, December 13, when we were taking a weekened trip to visit the Biltmore in Asheville, NC! I was so surprised! He asked me to take his picture in front of the Biltmore House on the lawn and when I looked up from my phone he was on one knee to propose! He was so nervous and shakey that the ring fell out of the box! I said YES!
