Question

How can I share photos from the wedding?

Answer

We'd love to see the day through your eyes! If you take any photos or videos throughout the weekend, we'd be so grateful if you could upload them here: https://my.guestpix.com/guest/access/145159/287rvPH4

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code for the wedding day is black-tie optional. Tuxedos are welcome, and formal suits and gowns are encouraged.

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

The average daily high in August is around 72 (°F), but can be a bit unpredictable! It tends to be warm in the sun but chilly in the shade. Please note that the weather in the mountains can shift quickly so pack accordingly, as nights tend to get chilly and there is always a possibility of a mountain rain!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30 PM! We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get comfortable, find your seat, and enjoy the atmosphere before we begin.

Question

My flight back home Sunday is very early, what should I do?

Answer

We’d recommend booking a later flight on Sunday, as we’ll be hosting a farewell brunch that morning and would love for everyone to join us before heading home. If you do need to catch an early flight, keep in mind that it’s about a 1-1.5-hour drive from Banff to Calgary Airport, so plan your timing accordingly.

Question

How many days should we stay?

Answer

We recommend spending about four days in Banff to truly take in the beauty of the park and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We’d love for everyone to arrive by Friday to join us for welcome drinks & bites before the wedding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend the celebration. If a plus one has been extended to you, their name will appear on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but for this special occasion we’ve chosen to keep the celebration adults-only. We truly appreciate you making plans so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re asking guests to keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be truly in the moment. Don’t worry — we’ll share all the professional photos after!
