Please RSVP by April 1st so we have an accurate headcount.
As much as we love your little ones, due to venue limitations the ceremony and reception will be adults only. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your families, so please know they are welcome at the Friday Welcome Party.
In early May, the weather in Islamorada will be in the low 80s during the day, and in the mid 70s at night.
The Welcome Party on Friday is at Pierre’s, which was originally part of the Moorings property and has a West Indies colonial flair. We ask that the guests come in “Resort Chic” — which is on the casual spectrum of traditional cocktail, and have fun with it! For men, closed-toed shoes, pants, collared shirts, linen jackets or suits (if you feel inclined). For women, short or long dresses, linen pants, and blouses.
The Ceremony and Reception will be at The Moorings Village. The Ceremony will take place on the grass lawn in the coconut grove, and the reception will be on the beach behind the Blue Charlotte House. We ask that guests dress “Black Tie Optional”. For ladies, midi or long dresses, and we recommend block heels or shoes suitable for grass. For men, tuxedos, suits and ties/bowties. Dress to impress!
Guests staying at the Cheeca have pool and beach access, so be sure to bring a swimsuit and plenty of sunscreen. The Cheeca also provides day trips for snorkeling, fishing, wildlife sighting and more, so plan accordingly if you would like to take part. Otherwise, the keys are very casual and relaxed.
