Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Marriott of Pompano Beach.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM. Cocktail hour will follow at 5:00 and lead right into the reception.

Question

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is “beach chic”. Cocktail attire, including cocktail dresses and suits are welcome. Light suits and long flowy dresses are also welcomed. The ceremony will take place on the beach, so shoes will be optional during this part of the evening. There will be a designated space to keep any shoes that are removed for the ceremony.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we cannot guarantee anything! We are hoping for a warm and sunny day. Typically, November in Florida is 80 degrees with a breeze.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be on the beach. The cocktail hour will be held on an outdoor rooftop. The reception will be indoors in a ballroom space.

Is there a room block available?

Answer

We have a room block reserved at Marriott Pompano Beach. Discounted rates are available for Wednesday, November 8 through Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The last day to book is Friday, October 6. https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1683754843573&key=GRP

Question

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in one location. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving or are staying at the hotel. Lyft or Uber are a great option for those who plan to drink that night. Self-parking is $20 for the night.
