Things To Do

We're so excited for you to join us in Hood River! The area is known for its gorgeous views of the Columbia River Gorge, Mount Hood, and rolling orchards. You can expect to find great hiking trails, as well as incredible wineries, breweries, cideries and a downtown with cute shops and good food. For our guests who will be coming to the Pacific Northwest for the first time, we also have to recommend spending time in Portland! It has the best food, coffee, and breweries that you can find - and if you're lucky, beautiful views of Mount Hood and Mount St Helens. We’ve added below some of our favorite places and a few spots on our list to try (if you try any of these, let us know what you think!). If you are planning your trip and want some more recommendations, whether it is in Portland or spending time on the coast or hiking on Mount Hood, let us know! We have a list about ten times as long that we’re happy to share.
