Is this a traditional reception? What about the Ceremony?

Answer

No, this is not a traditional reception. We will have already been married in an intimate ceremony on the Oregon coast with immediate family in August. This will be more of a cocktail party that is a celebration of our marriage. We hope you can join us!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If your invitation states your name(s) and family, that means that your children are invited.

Will you be serving dinner?

Answer

We will have appetizers and desserts! We will also serve soda and water as non-alcoholic beverages. Please also let us know if you or your children have any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate that as much as possible!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer and wine only. There will be a mixed cocktail drink.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Please note in your RSVP that your children will be there so we can accommodate the food count as much as possible. Please also let us know if your children have any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate that as much as possible!

Where should I park?

Answer

The CW Penthouse has its own designated parking lot next to the building, but each guest will receive a parking sticker/ticket from the valet/ security guard in the lobby by the elevators to put in the window of their cars. All guests will use the designated elevator to enter the penthouse. If you have too much fun and do not want to drive home, you can leave your car in the parking lot over night until 10am the next day. We want our guests to have as much fun but also be safe driving home afterwards.

Is it indoors or outdoors? Weather?

Answer

The reception party will be both indoors and outdoors. The event takes place at the top of the CW Moore Plaza building in their Penthouse. There will be a main room and then it extends outside onto the balcony that has beautiful views of the foothills, bogus and downtown Boise. Weather could be as high as 75/80 degrees in the afternoon, but I cannot control or predict the weather. Check weather when it gets closer!

Do you have a registry? AND Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

We do not have a registry as we have been living together for a while and feel it is not needed. Your presence is gift enough, but if you want to contribute we have set up the Newlywed Fund that you can find at the top of the navigation bar of the website. As an alternative, you can bring your gift to the venue and it can be stored there. Thank you so much!!
