We met the old fashioned way of our generation... online! I think most of us know the trials and tribulations of online dating so I will spare any further details. Whether it was fate, the universe, or the fact we both swiped right, we eventually found each other. After messaging back and forth for two weeks, I asked Zack out on a date to the movies and the rest is history! Here is to the future!

We were staying with my best friend Arielle in a little beach bungalow in Rockaway, OR, for a long weekend getaway. Our plan was to collect as many seashells as possible, walk for miles on the beach and eat lots of clam chowder! (Mission Accomplished) What I didn't know is that Zack and Arielle had another plan. On the second evening of the trip, we went out for another walk on the beach before dinner and this time Zack wanted to get a photo of him and I on the hill overlooking the beach. There we were, ready to pose as Arielle is about to take the photo and Zack decides he needs to tie his shoe. I thought in the moment why is he tying his shoe or is this a cheesy joke? (He loves to tell dad jokes!) BUT NO! He ends up getting down on one knee and asks me to spend the rest of our lives together with a beautiful ring. I said YES and here we are!
