Hi, my name is Dixie dawg, this is the story of how my mom and dad met. Mom was in her second year of college when she met the greatest man in the entire world, my dad. Dad was a freshman and had just pledged our fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau where all my boys lived. I loved living there, but more on that later. My mom and dad had become friends and my dad finally found the courage to ask my mom on their first date, the 2014 spring formal. They apparently had a grand time because things stayed steady until May of 2015, when they came to Kentucky to pick me up. Things really got crazy from there, my dad and me lived in the fraternity house with Uncle Austin and all my other boys & my mom would take me over to the Alpha Gamma Delta house, which did not have as much to sniff as the Phi Tau house. Then they finally lived in the same house, which had a giant tree that always had squirrels in it with no air conditioning, can you believe it. My fur was always frizzy! Then one day, mom & dad packed up all my toys and drove me on one of the longest car rides of my life. We finally had air conditioning and a new home in Texas. My mom & dad were older now, long gone were the days of sleeping until noon and cookouts at the frat. I found myself alone all day & my mom & dad noticed I was sad. I wanted them to stop going to work but they did not get that message instead we drove back to Kentucky to get my giant little brother, Luc. At first I did not enjoy sharing my parents with him, but things changed in a car ride, and we became inseparable. Our family was complete, we spent our time barking on the balcony and going for walks. Then one day, mom & dad took us to get our picture taken at the big park Arbor Hills. We got new bandanas and got to chase rabbits and even a turkey! At the end, dad got down on one knee and asked mom to marry him. My mom said yes & that brought us here today. Can’t wait to see you all at my party! Thanks for reading, I need to get back to the tennis ball.
