WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

These two met on Match.com and of course Sarah messaged Wes first. Then it was Wes who asked Sarah to dinner at Pat's Tap in Minneapolis. When she arrived, Wes was waiting at the bar in his Canadian tuxedo (aka his lucky outfit) and fresh haircut. They sat for dinner and Sarah asked if he wanted to share a meal (who does that on a first date!?). Wes explained he had just paid $50 for a haircut and needed a new barber. Little did Sarah know this was an interview for that very position! He was enamored with Sarah's bubbly personality and genuine smile and tried his best to entertain her with his signature oddball stories. Something must have clicked because they both stayed out until 11 on a work night! After dinner and a trip across the street for a nightcap, Sarah offered to drive Wes over to his car. He jokingly told her to drop him off by a creepy, windowless cargo/murder van parked on the street and asked her if she wanted some of the ice cream he had inside. Thinking he had certainly crossed the line on their first (and last) date, he quickly added "Totally kidding. The black Acura over there is mine." She laughed. That was when they knew Sarah would accept the position of Wes' new barber.... ;) aaaaand they were both just odd enough to be perfect for each other.

After 4 years on our trip to Denver for a long weekend Wes finally popped the question! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Saint Paul!
