What is the weather like in Tulsa in July?

Tulsa summers are typically hot, with temperatures in the 90s-100s. All events will be indoors, so you’ll stay cool and comfortable.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors at The Mayo Hotel.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests are to arrive at 4:00 PM, at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for seating.

Hotel check-in is at 4:00 pm. How can I make it to the ceremony on time?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to be upstairs on the 16th floor by 4:00 PM so everyone is seated before our 4:30 PM ceremony begins. If you're staying at The Mayo Hotel, we recommend arriving early. You may request an early check-in (subject to availability) or leave your luggage with the front desk and check in after the ceremony if your room isn't ready.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We kindly request formal black attire. To complement the timeless style of our celebration, we kindly ask that all guests wear black attire. Gentlemen: Black suit or tuxedo preferred. Please, no jeans. Ladies: Black dress (long or short). Please avoid white, ivory, champagne, or other light shades that could photograph similarly to the bride's gown.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration, unless children are specifically named on the invitation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. Guests who are invited with a plus-one will have their guest listed on the invitation.

Are there other nearby hotels?

Answer

Yes—there are several great hotels within walking distance or a short drive of The Mayo. Visit the 'Travel' tab for our recommendations.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Since many hotels are within walking distance of the venue, transportation will not be provided. Uber and other ride-share services are widely available throughout downtown Tulsa.

Where should I park?

Valet is available at The Mayo for $5. Nearby parking garages are available in downtown Tulsa as well.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We promise to share professional photos afterward!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We know you were thinking it... yes, there will be! The bar will close briefly during dinner service, so be sure to grab a drink during cocktail hour before taking your seat!

Is there a grand exit?

Yes! Meet us outside the ballroom at 10:25 PM for our grand exit!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will conclude at 10:30 PM. Please join us after at the Penthouse bar to continue the celebration!
