Cork city is one of the main reasons we picked The Maryborough as our venue especially for our American guests. The city has much to offer and there are plenty of things to do! Shopping, restaurants, bars and activities. It also provides both the train and bus. However, if you venture outside the city there are many towns in Cork that have much to offer as well. Cork is the perfect end or start to your Ireland vacation.

If you decide to fly into Shannon Airport we suggest visiting the Cliffs before or after the wedding as they are an hour from the airport.

If you plan on visiting the Cliffs you will be close by to the lovely town of Doolin. We suggest visiting and grabbing a pint. If this is your first stop before the wedding, we suggest using a day to tour around Co. Clare and making your way to Spanish Point to see the water and many beautiful views. You can find accommodation and spend the night before making your way down to Cork.
