Kinsale is a 30 minute drive from the Maryborough and is a must see town while in Cork.
Cobh is a 22 minute drive from the Maryborough and is a must see town while in Cork. Cobh is a port town and was actually the Titanic’s final port they stopped at before they made their voyage.
Visit the town which is close to Inchydoney beach for a nice walk. A 50 min drive from the hotel. If you find yourself visiting here you might as well make your way down to Dunnycove. A 12 minute drive from the beach!
Head to Bantry & explore. Also offers a long walk at Sheep Heads Way for those looking for a long walk featuring beautiful views of the ocean. Roughly 1 hour 20 minutes from the hotel.
While in Cobh you can visit the titanic experience.
If you decide to fly into Shannon Airport we suggest visiting the Cliffs before or after the wedding as they are an hour from the airport.
If you plan on visiting the Cliffs you will be close by to the lovely town of Doolin. We suggest visiting and grabbing a pint. If this is your first stop before the wedding, we suggest using a day to tour around Co. Clare and making your way to Spanish Point to see the water and many beautiful views. You can find accommodation and spend the night before making your way down to Cork.
If you do decide to fly into Dublin or just visit in general the Guiness Storehouse is a must.
The Blarney Stone is a 21 min ride from the hotel and a popular tourist attraction. The legend is that if you kiss the stone you will get the "gift of the gab". Located in the Blarney Castle.
