We're getting married!

Washington, DC - 2021 Sarah and Shane met in 2021 on Hinge (a rare success story!) in Washington, DC. After they matched, Shane set up a date! But just a few hours before, Sarah became nervous and cancelled on him. A couple of months went by, and on a random Sunday in August, Shane decided to shoot his shot and reached out to Sarah again. Sarah said YES! No cold feet this time, their first date was at Wilson's Hardware in Arlington, VA. Months into the relationship, Sarah had already made plans to move to Charlotte, NC when her apartment lease was up. She couldn’t believe the timing was off for her and Shane, but also wanted to follow her heart in trying a new city. At the same time, Shane was re-evaluating his career path and decided that some change would do him some good, and knew Sarah was worth moving for. A few months later, they packed up their apartments and moved to the Queen City! Charlotte, NC - 2021 - Present Since then, Sarah and Shane have loved exploring their new city together! From trying new restaurants and breweries, building a community in Charlotte, staying active through jiu jitsu (Shane) and running (both) and traveling! It has been so fun getting to know a new city together. Most of all, they have loved adopting their sweet puppy, Shane O'Neil (aka Shane Junior, Junior, or Junie) and spending time with their cat, LB. As of most recent, loving on the newest addition to the family, Finnegan the pup! We are so blessed to have the best friends and family ever and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

What Sarah loves most about Shane is his kindness to everyone he meets, his patience, and how he is always calm in times of stress. She also loves how he is always making up funny little songs for her :)

Shane loves how unbelievably sweet and thoughtful Sarah is, she is always thinking of others and putting them first. Sarah is so incredibly kind and thoughtful and she loves so hard.
