Travel to the Kitsap Peninsula by Car
It's a beautiful trip to the gateway of the Olympic Peninsula! You have a few options to get to Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Peninsula by car. Driving Route: Drive south through Tacoma to Kitsap Memorial State Park: Est. 1.5 hours Ferry Route: If you want to go the scenic route, there are a few drive-on ferry options that will reach the venue from the airport. -RECOMMENDED: Downtown Seattle/Bainbridge Island (15 min drive to downtown+35 min ferry ride+35 min drive to venue) -Downtown Seattle/Bremerton (15 min drive to downtown+60 min ferry ride+35 min drive to venue) -Fauntleroy/Southworth (20 min drive to West Seattle+40 min ferry ride+45 min drive to venue) The schedules and up-to-date wait times for each ferry are posted on the WSDOT website: https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/ These ferries do not take reservations and fill up quickly on the weekends causing long wait times. Be sure to budget extra time for traffic and ferry wait times when booking your flight.
