Hallie is Sarah's future sister-in-law. They have become very close over the past three years and have bonded over their same career choices (Teachers) and their love of the same guy (Ethan). The two can talk for hours and love to shop together! They look forward to sharing many family events and becoming even closer as "sisters"! I am so grateful that my brother brought Hallie into my life as she is one of the nicest people I know!
Tim Hartman
Best Man
Timmy Harts is Rick’s older brother. He has been looking out for Rick since the beginning, especially after Maria was born and Rick developed Middle Child Syndrome. The brothers have done an awful lot together: visit family, quote movies, trips to Boston, complain about the Sox, go to Albany St, play for a (make-believe) hockey gold medal, complain about the Sox.... Tim found the love of his life first - Kayla “Pookie” Hartman (nee Bronson). Rick was the best man for their wedding in 2014. He is also an uncle to Tim & Kayla’s two daughters and godfather to little Cora. We'd say more, but we can't discuss the family business.
Kayla Hartman

Kayla is the wife of Ricks brother, Tim. She is also the mom of Sarah's future nieces (Eden and Coralene)! They have gained a friendship over the past year and a half and Sarah cannot wait to see it grow as they become "sisters". Kayla has taught Sarah some of the Hartman ways such as 2 hours late is normal. She has been like the big sister that Sarah never had with her guidance and wisdom.
Ethan Myers

Ethan is Sarah's brother. Early in Rick & Sarah's courtship, Sarah was adamant that Ethan would be a great judge of her new boyfriend’s character. If Ethan liked him, then Rick was in good shape. If not - well…. Sarah made this openly known to Rick, which caused him to feel nervous about an otherwise harmless meeting of the much-talked-about brother. You can probably guess the rest of the story, but Rick’s still around! Rick always looks forward to Ethan’s company during family gatherings. For those who don’t know him well - he’s kind, funny, and extremely intelligent. Ethan is, too! Ethan also has his perfect match by his side, Hallie Serianni. Sarah & Rick have both loved Hallie since the beginning of knowing her. Ethan’s future bride is a great testament to his character, as well.
Maria Barone

Maria is Rick's sister. Maria and Sarah have gained a friendship over the past year and a half that will continue to grow. They share a love of pets (cats), good movies, and the same guy (Rick). Sarah is excited to gain another "sister" and share family times together!
Tom Barone
Groomsman
Tom is a killer guitar player and a giant Yankees fan; Rick is neither of those things. But they are brothers-in-law, thanks to Maria (Hartman) Barone! Tom and Rick generally knew each other from Little League Baseball and living two blocks apart, yet they didn’t become good friends until high school. Tom was close childhood friends with fellas like Bob Licari, Anthony DeCola, and Mike D. As Rick hung out more and more with Bob and the gang, much because of baseball (at first), Tom came with the package. This led to Rick being unofficially sworn into the group, plus growing closer to Tom due to his charms. Rick and Tom’s pastimes included wiffle ball, rock music, laughs at Albany St., and late-night patio beers. Rick's kid sister and Tom fell in love in the end, and there you have it.
Ashley Cappelli

Ashley is one of Sarah's best friends. They have been friends since they met at St. Pauls's Daycare when Sarah moved to Whitesboro for 2nd grade. They have been friends ever since. They share a love of Harry Potter and Twilight movies. Ashley is an accomplished opera singer while Sarah can't carry a tune to save her life!
Bob Licari

In the wild days that were the '90s, Bob & Rick were first aware of each other's existence because of Little League. They went to different elementary schools in Herkimer, however. Bob was a bada** public school kid, while Rick was a saintly young lad at St. Francis. They later teamed up as the double-play duo for modified baseball in 9th grade; plus they were known to pair up in biology lab and sing acapella to pass the time, which cemented the friendship. Due to other mutual interests, like the Sox-Yankee rivalry, backyard wiffle ball, the Beatles, chicken wings, and the humor of Herkimer legend Mike DePalma, Rick and Bob grew to become great friends. The fiber world (and Cavallo's) has created limits to how often they have seen each other lately, but their friendship has endured.
Liz Kozminski

Liz is another one of Sarah's best friends. They met in Geology at MVCC. Sarah was the loud talkative one and Liz was the shy quiet one - what a perfect match! Sarah and Liz bonded right away and have shared a love of Nicholas Sparks movies, country music, and lazy Sundays!
Jim Marosek
Groomsman
Jim & Rick have been cousins and friends since Rick joined the world. Their families spent a lot of time together as they grew up. At first they lived in the same apartment house until the Marosek's moved just a few blocks away. A big part of their upbringing was spending time at “Grandma Glo’s.” Their families had dinner with their grandmother on just about every Sun. until her passing. Other fond experiences include sleepovers, (with their brothers Tim & Joe), sports (including sandlot softball), birthday parties, family gatherings, friends gatherings, book discussions, and Boston trips. Jim is known by many as a funny, likeable, smart guy; which has led to he and Rick having many of the same friends and acquaintances. To put it simply - Jim and Rick have seen a lot of each other.
Lauren Myers
Bridesmaid
Of all the bridesmaids, Lauren and Sarah have known each other the longest. As a cousin and a friend, they have spent every summer and many holidays together at camp hanging out by the fire, and the beach, and watching intense games of horseshoes. The two have shared adventures at Disney World and Universal Studios. Lauren is very tolerant of Sarah's excitable nature and Sarah loves her very much!
Dennis Harrigan

Dennis and Rick sat next to each other on the first day of Kindergarten. They looked at each other and mutually said, "Hey, let's be friends!" They consummated the friendship with the playing of wooden trucks, and the rest is history. The two did just about everything together throughout their nine years at St. Francis school, including sneaking into the church hall during extra long "bathroom breaks" to drink 2-liter sodas. They played basketball together for many years - Rick as a point guard and Dennis a forward - all until Rick broke his heart by quitting during Soph. year. They have since rekindled the magic by playing pickup b-ball on Wed. nights in the St. Francis gym. They are both Herkimer to Little Falls transplants, too! Dennis is a LF firefighter, and Rick's a LF teacher.
