Sarah is a kind-hearted soul with a passion for laughter and fun! You can often find her at the gaming table, rolling dice in a thrilling game of Dungeons & Dragons or strategizing in a heated match of Magic: The Gathering against Presten and friends. She loves spending quiet evenings with her adorable kitty, Louise, who always adds a touch of mischief to their life. She also enjoy sewing, creating unique pieces that reflect her creativity, and diving into captivating books that transport her to magical new worlds. I’m so grateful to share this day with all of you, and I can’t wait for the adventures that lie ahead!
Presten Kooistra
Groom
Presten is a tinkerer at heart, always diving into new projects with his 3D printer, but what he loves even more is cooking. There’s nothing quite like whipping up a delicious meal to bring people together! When he's not experimenting in the kitchen or in his workshop, you can find him exploring fantastic worlds in Dungeons & Dragons or strategizing in Magic: The Gathering with my amazing partner. And of course, there’s our beloved kitty, Louise, who always knows how to keep things interesting! I feel incredibly lucky to be on this journey with Sarah, and I can’t wait to see what adventures await us. Thank you all for being here to celebrate with us!
Jessica Icenogle
Maid of Honor
Jessica is the Bride's baby sister and best friend. She was the very first person that Sarah called after saying Yes! We love playing games together online and talk endlessly on the phone everyday. When they were kids they used to sneak out to the living room after everyone went to bed so they could eat poptarts and play Uno. We can't imagine our day without her there and are so excited to have her travel in from Arkansas to stand by Sarah's side!
Rennan Kooistra
Best Man
Rennan is the best man and younger brother to the Groom. Him and the Groom enjoy mountain biking together, playing space pilots on Elite Dangerous, and communicate exclusively through Vine references that no one else gets anymore. We couldn't imagine our wedding without him to stand at Presten's side. (P.S. he's a goofy goober, yeah!)
Lilly Clark
Maid of Honor
Lilly and the Bride have been best friends since they met in 7th grade (even though Lilly called her horse girl for the first year because she wore ONE shirt with some horses on it lol). Lilly and the Bride enjoy playing Magic, DnD, and doing Tarot readings together. Lilly is one of the most genuine, kind, and loving people on the planet and if it weren't for Lilly then Sarah and Presten wouldn't have had the chance to meet so we are eternally grateful to have an amazing friend like Lilly be a part of our special day!
Elizabeth Hutcheson
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth is the Bride's older sister! They love watching My Little Pony, Merlin, and Doctor Who together. Her and the Bride spent countless hours at the local coffee shop that streamed new Doctor Who episodes like a premier and they loved buying some hot chocolates and playing boardgames at the tables while watching the latest episode. Elizabeth is an incredible baker and makes the Bride's favorite cake pops of all time! We're grateful that she is willing to travel from Arkansas to stand with us on our wedding day!
Anthony Rivera
Groomsman
Anthony and the Groom have been friends since 9th grade. He is a very charismatic fun-loving dude and is the friend that is always there no matter what you need or when you call him. Him and the Groom share a passion for cooking and they enjoy trying new foods together. We are so grateful to have him stand with us as we say I Do and be the life of the party!
Rana Freeman
Bridesmaid
Rana and the Bride have been friends for over 10 years. They connected over their strong nerdiness for Japanese culture, anime, dressing up and going to cons! They met while opening the Carl's Jr in Williams, AZ and became friends after we both escaped that nightmare! The Bride and Rana have gotten to go on many fun adventures together for photoshoots and cons and we are so grateful she agreed to be part of our special day!
Jazzlyn S tone
Junior Bridesmaid
Jazzlyn is the Bride's baby cousin and favorite human in the world! She reminds us to be silly and have fun even as adults. We share a love for Harry Potter and try to learn a new phrase in Sign Language every time we see each other. Sarah used to babysit Jazzlyn everyday when she was a baby and that is time that the Bride will always always cherish. When we first got engaged (forever ago) we announced our engagement to the family at Christmas by asking Jazzlyn to be our flower girl but now that she's older we are honored to have her stand with us as we say I Do!
Andrew Clark
Groomsman
Andrew and the Groom originally became friends because of Sarah and Lilly (Andrew's spouse) but since then their friendship has blossomed into sharing pictures of what they cook each night, building new Magic: The Gathering decks, and general mischief together. Andrew and Presten share a passion for cooking and picturesque plating very Instagram worthy dishes. To say everyone is well fed when these two get together is an understatement! We are so honored that Andrew is joining our party on our special day!

Justin and the Groom have been friends for over 14 years. They loved hanging out and playing their guitar and bass together when they were in High School. They share a love of cooking and the great outdoors. We're grateful that he is joining us for our wedding as one of the Groom's oldest and dearest friends!
MaRiane Kooistra
Mother of the Groom
MaRiane and Presten share a very special bond over their love for the outdoors and hiking off the beaten path. As a mother she is always supportive and caring and goes out of her way to help Presten be all that he can be. We are so deeply grateful for her support with our first home, our wedding, and our lives we literally couldn't do any of this without her!
Paul Smith
Father of the Bride
Paul and Sarah have always shared a very special relationship as they both love to tinker with electronics and watch nerdy movies some of their constant rewatches being Indiana Jones series and the Rush Hour trilogy. Growing up he has always been a shoulder to cry on and a safe bear hug on a tough day, and who could forget the endless dad jokes to make us girls laugh! He encouraged Sarah to be herself and to always chase your dreams no matter how hard the journey will be. He is a wonderful father and friend and we're so excited to have him giving Sarah away as well as performing the couple's handfasting ritual.
