National Gallery of Australia
Our engagement photos were taken in the sculpture garden around the National Gallery, it is a beautiful part of the city. Fun fact - the only NYSF STEM Visit Sarah has ever been on was to a factory in Brisbane where they were making the very sculpture that she later had her engagement photo in. Talk about fate!
Stripey Sundae
Honestly, we literally go here every weekend on our way to get Crickets for Good Boi. Their flavours are second-to-none. Spoiler alert, you may be able to try some of our favourites at the wedding
National Zoo & Aquarium
When asked for a Canberra recommendation, Peter promptly replied "I mean we have had most fun at the zoo" And oh boy is that true. We went there for their Valentine's Day event and got to hold a snake (pictured). What isn't pictured is the pure joy Sarah then experienced when they got to watch the Otter feeding! The best bit about going to the zoo with Peter is his biology degree coming to the forefront and being so full of animal facts. It is just a dream!
