FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Crowe and Peter Derbyshire
Here are a list of questions you may have, if you can't find what you are looking for - please reach out to us!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday the 18th of October

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Honestly the more colourful and vibrant the better! Our wedding party will be in a variety of colours so no colour is off limits. The only thing to consider is that our wedding and cocktail hour will be outdoors on a grassy area (fingers crossed). So please dress accordingly!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in our lives, this is an adults-only occasion with the exception of our immediate family.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No sorry. Due to numbers, we can only accommodate guests whose names are specified on the invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please aim to arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony starts (ceremony start time is 5.30pm) to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

...really? No! Please put your phones and cameras away for the ceremony, we are paying good money for professionals to capture the moment so there is really no need to. As soon as cocktail hour begins you can go to town, the only thing we ask is that no photos of us are shared on socials before we get the chance to!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course, nothing ruins the vibe like anaphylaxis! Please make a note of it during your RSVP and we will pass the information on to the catering team.

Question

I need to contact someone about my RSVP, who should I chat to?

Answer

Reach out to Sarah (0416 600 442) or Peter (0435 047 817) and we will be able to help you. UNLESS IT IS OUR WEDDING DAY. In which case please do not contact either of us and please reach out to Jenna (0402 669 015)

Question

Is both your ceremony and reception being held in the same place?

Answer

Yes indeed! There is no need to travel between locations, we will be having our ceremony and then moving straight into a cocktail hour and reception from there.
