Pinel Island is a beautiful small island off the coast of the north side of the island. There are two beach bars there where you can spend the day. You can either take the ferry there, take a boat tour or kayak if you are feeling like some exercise.
Orient Bay is a beautiful section on the French side of the Island. Known for water sports like kite and wind surfing, some of the best food on the island can be found here as well. Watch out for the wild donkeys! Some of our favorite restaurants: - l'Atelier -l'Astrolabe -Bikini Beach for Lunch -Yellow Submarine for cheap drinks and great music/karaoke!
Grand Case is known for their restaurants and calm, bath-like waters of the Caribbean Sea. A great place to spend the day or to extend your trip.
Go snorkeling in an underwater sculpture museum.
Hike up the Back Bay trail and explore the hidden treasures of SXM, you will reach the amazing natural pool where you can take a refreshing dip in the magical-looking tide pool before hiking back. The tide pool named the Natural Pool, or Devil's Cupper is protected from the crashing waves by stunning, striated boulders, and is full of life: banded coral shrimp, and sea urchins (watch your step when climbing down!).
