Flight & Parking Tips

If flying in for the event, we recommend either LGA or JFK. Newark airport is an option, however, be warned the travel time to Brooklyn from Newark can be very very long. If driving into Brooklyn, street parking spaces are at a premium, but you may get lucky and secure one. If not, there are several parking lots you can use. If staying at the Penny Hotel, the hotel has a partnership with the iPark lot located at 247 N.7th Street. The Penny guest rate is $25 for a 24-hour cycle. Inform the parking attendant that you are staying at the Penny Williamsburg and they will honor the rate. If driving in just for the wedding, there are several parking lots within a 5-7 minute walk to the venue. Utilize Google Maps and enter parking and it will show locations: City Parking – 82 N 13th Street City Parking – 25 Kent Street Sherman Parking – 123 N 12th Street Bedford Garage – 101 Bedford Street MBA One Parking – 12 Eckford Street

15 minute walk to Brooklyn Winery right through McCarren Park or 5 minute Uber/Taxi. We have reserved a 30-room hotel block at The Penny. Standard Queen rooms are $416, including taxes and fees, with room block rate. The link should bring you directly to room block bookings.

15-20 minute Uber/Taxi to Brooklyn Winery. NOT walkable. Another nearby hotel option, and what we believe is the best option at more affordable pricing, The Holiday Inn Express Long Island City is a 15-20 minute Uber/Taxi ride (too far to walk) to The Brooklyn Winery. Room rates start around $300/night.

10 minute walk to Brooklyn Winery. Another very nice hotel option, located near great restaurants and shopping. Room Rates start at $600/night.

Please keep in mind the “NYC Is Crazy” Rule: Whatever google maps tells you is the time to the venue, prepare for that time to double, should there be traffic or subway delays. Please plan wherever you stay close enough to the venue and leave far in advance of arrival time.
