Question

Can I bring a Plus One, or additional guests such as my kids?

Answer

Guests will be invited by name, on your invitation. Space is very tight (this is New York City after all!), and the venue has a very strict limitation on attendance size. If you do not see a significant other’s name on the invitation, know that we hope to celebrate with you both in the future, but we ask that only you attend. No kids will be allowed into the wedding venue, due to venue policy, at any time, during the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding on guest attendance limitations.

Question

What is there to do in the area?

Answer

Well, this is New York City, so there is PLENTY to do! We won’t list out the typical tourist destinations for you (however, please feel free to visit these great spots!) We will instead share some of our favorite spots near the wedding venue: -McCarren Park: Take a stroll through the park and people watch. Grab a coffee or sandwich at the McCarren Park House. If you crave a workout, skip the hotel gym and go for a run around the McCarren Park track instead! -Marsha P. Johnson Park: Some of the most incredible views of the city can be seen on the Williamsburg waterfront. Walk from this park down to the Domino Sugar Factory for GREAT views of the entire NYC skyline (fun fact - this is part of Pete's running route!) -Tap into your true Brooklyn Hipster with some thrifting/vintage shopping: Monk Vintage and Buffalo Exchange are a great place to start! -Citi Bike down the Williamsburg waterfront to DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Or, Citi Bike across the Williamsburg bridge into Lower East Side Manhattan (just be warned E-bike City Bikes may be needed to avoid a sweat)

Question

Where should I eat during the weekend?

Answer

One of our favorite things to do in Williamsburg is EAT! There are so many options to choose from when it comes to eating out in NYC, we’ve broken out some of our most loved below. Our favorite dinner spots: -Cafe Mogador: Moroccan food, amazing cocktails and great for sharing -Cozy Royale: The best burger we’ve ever had. Enough said. -Leo: Italian with great pizza/pasta/salad (we recommend the white clam pizza) -Lilia or Misi: High-end Italian ***tough to get a reservation here, but worth a try! Some of the best food you’ll have ever had in your LIFE! -Mala Project (Greenpoint location): Chinese Sichuan food, great for a group to share a big meal -Fishcheeks: Thai food - the lime chicken wings are amazing -Veselka: Ukrainian food; this is a New York institution and has the best pierogis For a New York slice of pizza: -Rome To Brooklyn: We love the vodka sauce pie! -L’Industrie: Pro tip: if you order a pie ahead you can pick up and skip the long line -Best Pizza: Chill location with a classic NYC vibe; our favorite pepperoni slice -Paulie Gee's Slice Shop: The Hellboy slice is a must-try For a good cup of coffee/morning treat: -Simply Nova: Jewish deli with our favorite bagels and lox -Land To Sea: Funky cafe with tea lattes and Chinese pastries -Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop: Cash-only, old-school donut shop -Leo: On weekend mornings has amazing sourdough bagels (and yes this is the same Leo as above) -Good Thanks: Australian cafe, great for brunch -Cafe Grumpy: Any “Girls” fans out there? Nothing too special about this place, but yes it is the Cafe Grumpy from Girls
