Freshfields Village is located just outside Kiawah and has a grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. This could be a good place to grab dinner on Friday night, shop during the day on Saturday, or grab essentials for your rental at the Harris Teeter.
La Tela Pizzeria
La Tela is an Italian restaurant located in Freshfields Village. This restaurant does not take reservations, but we'd recommend getting on the waitlist and grabbing a drink at King Street Grille.
Café Eugenia
Cafe Eugenia is also located in Freshfields Village and is a great option for breakfast, lunch, and pre-made foods. You can order at the cafe or place a pickup order at least 24 hours in advance for pre-made dishes such as enchiladas or baked ziti. Multiple gluten free and vegetarian options are also available.
FortyEight - Wine Bar & Kitchen
Located in Freshfields Village, FortyEight Wine bar is a great spot for some wine and a charcuterie board. The bar also offers a dinner menu.
Rent a Bike
Bikes are a great option for exploring the island. Bikes can be ridden on the beach and bike paths run along most of the island.
