We highly recommend booking a house or villa through Kiawah Island Resort. We expect many of our guests will be staying in villas in the East Beach area which includes Turtle Point, Turtle Cove, Windswept, Mariner's Watch, Parkside, Tennis Club and Night Heron. There is another wedding on the island the same weekend, so we recommend looking for a place to stay sooner rather than later. More details available on the travel page.
We have requested that you share your accommodation address so that we can plan for shuttle service to the event. There will likely be a pickup location near your house or villa, but you are also welcome to drive and park at the venue if you prefer. We will communicate specific transportation instructions closer to our wedding day.
Please plan for your own transportation to the Welcome Party. If you are staying with Kiawah Island Resort, you can request a free ride anywhere on the island by calling their shuttle service at extension 82900. Their website says to allow 10-15 minutes for service.
