Bear Lake is a stunning fresh water lake with sandy beaches. It is known as the Caribbean of the Rockies due to its turquoise-blue water. The one hour drive to Bear Lake through Logan canyon is a must see attraction when visiting Logan. You will spend most of the drive testing your rental car's suspension on a winding canyon road surrounded by cliffs hundreds of feet tall before passing our favorite winter retreat, Beaver Mountain Ski Resort, and finally reaching the Bear Lake Overlook with a full view of the 100-square-mile lake. If you end up driving down to Garden City, we recommend stopping at LaBeau's for a raspberry shake!
The reason us lovebirds ever ended up in Logan. Walk up the Old Main stairs (if you dare), experience the view from the Quad, and treat yourself to some Aggie Ice Cream. Aggie Bull Tracks is Sarah's favorite and Aggie Blue Mint is Olli's favorite.
This is where we met! Good food with local brew options in a nice cozy setting. Prodigy is located right in downtown Logan. If you end up visiting them, you should ask why one of their beers is named 302.
This is where we went snowshoeing on our first date and where Olli proposed! The trail is relative flat for the first few miles but gets steeper after that. It is 10 miles out-and-back with 2000 feet of elevation gain over the first 5 miles. The trail is a popular destination for hikers, mountain bikers, and horse back riders.
