This is a great backup option in the event that the Westin is fully booked on the same street and equidistant from the wedding venue.
Flight
Don't get sucked into a deal flying into LaGuardia or JFK! A taxi from either will run you hundreds and traveling by subway is going to be less than pleasant with luggage. Newark will be the path of least resistance if you're flying in from out of state!
