Things To Do

Whether you're here for just a day or staying the long weekend, here are some of our favorite places. Check back for more updates soon!
Fiore's House of Quality

Fiore's House of Quality

414 Adams Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030

Partied a little too hard with us and need a serious hangover fix Saturday? Head to neighboring Hoboken for Fiore's legendary Roast Beef special sandwich. Perfectly tender roast beef and housemade mutz (that's mozzarella for our New Englanders) are the perfect pairing between fresh bread. Pro tips: ask for the sandwich dipped in au jous and if you're spicy, like us, top it off with some of their pickled hot. and we do mean HOT, peppers. Cash only here! There's an ATM inside if your wallet is empty from tipping your bartenders on Friday night.

Corto

Corto

507 Palisade Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07307

This is our favorite neighborhood date night spot! Elevated Italian food with the warmest service around! If the weather is looking nice, grab a table on the outdoor covered patio (heated in the cooler months!) Bonus is that it's BYOB! Be sure to make a reservation if you're interested in checking this out! They very rarely have walk-in availability. Oh, and street parking isn't the easiest. Get there early to grab parking and some wine at Riverview for your meal (details below).

Riverview Wine & Spirits

Riverview Wine & Spirits

43 Bowers Street, Jersey City, NJ 07307

There is never a trip to Corto without a trip first to Riverview! Their friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you to the perfect bottle of wine to pair with your pasta no matter your taste preferences.

Onieal's

Onieal's

343 Park Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030

The best burger EVER. Yes, we said EVER! Our go to is the Ragin' Cajun cooked medium rare with their house cut fries cooked well done. Wash it down with a Kane Head High IPA for peak experience.

Broadway

Broadway

Broadway, New York, NY

If you're making a long weekend out of it, take a hop over the Hudson via ferry or the Path train from Newport to catch a show! We've loved the last few that we have seen! The classic, Wicked, is a Broadway can't miss as are modern favorites, & Juliet and Six.

Scram Bakery

Scram Bakery

61 Erie Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302

Long weekend walks from the Heights to downtown Jersey City are topped off with Scram's legendary Ham Buns. Breakfast sandwiches and pastries galore, this is one of our favorite places to grab a quick breakfast and treat. As our friend Jess Farina and her dad Johnny would say, "Oh, baby."
