Getting Around NYC

New York is a big city, but getting around can be easy with the right tools! Subway The most efficient way to travel - fast, affordable, and reliable. We recommend using Google Maps, which provides accurate subway directions and accounts for service changes in real time. No need to buy a ticket - just tap a card or Apple Pay at the turnstile. Taxis When you need a car - just stick your arm out! Hailing a yellow cab is often quicker and cheaper than using a ride share - especially in busy areas. Ride Shares Uber and Lyft are widely available, but fares can surge during peak times or in high-traffic zones. Walking Some of the best sights are seen on foot. Pack comfy shoes and enjoy the walk.
